Women’s Health puts YUYU ICE Recovery to the heatwave test

Women’s Health has reviewed YUYU ICE Recovery during the UK heatwave, testing the same reusable cooling wrap that has been seen with England footballers during World Cup hydration breaks.

Written by Hattie Parish, Senior Health and Wellness Ecommerce Editor for Women’s Health, the review looked at whether YUYU could help make hot days, stuffy flats and working from home feel more comfortable.

The verdict was clear.

After testing YUYU over several consecutive days in London heatwave conditions, Women’s Health described the product as “genuinely effective”, highlighting its hands-free design, flexible chambered construction and simple everyday use.

The review also picked out several of the points that matter most to YUYU customers:

Genuinely cools you down fast
Simple and easy to use
Hands-free
Flexible chambered design
Optional cover for softer contact on the skin
Reusable and practical for hot weather

YUYU ICE Recovery is a 90 cm wearable, water based cooling system. It can be filled, frozen or chilled, then used around the neck, shoulders, torso, legs, wrists, palms or face.

The idea is simple: water, a freezer and a long flexible design that helps keep cooling close to the body while leaving your hands free.

In the review, Hattie tested YUYU while working from home, relaxing in the evening and sleeping, using it both with and without the optional cover. She found the product especially useful because it could be worn while getting on with normal daily tasks, rather than having to hold a small ice pack in place.

For YUYU, this review captures exactly why ICE Recovery was created.

The same product logic that makes it useful during elite sport cooling breaks also makes sense during everyday heat: short recovery windows, hot working days, travel, training, sleep and home life without air conditioning.

No batteries. No plugs. No gels.

Just water, ice and a reusable cooling system designed to make hot days easier to manage.
